Clips that went through the check

Each one below is a clip, the score it came back with, the shot that broke, and the fix that was written for it. Same check every time, so two clips can be put next to each other.

Every later shot is held up against the first clear look, not against the shot before it.
  1. 01Score 0.71

Interview-style monologue, one room, generated shot by shot

    Length
    2 min 10 s
    Read
    24 shots
    Where
    1:22 to 1:43, shot 17

    What it found

Hair changed between the wide shot and the reverse angle. Nothing in the scene explains it.

    Evidence

The first clear look at her is shot 3. Held next to shot 17, the parting is on the other side and the length is different.

    Fix

Regenerate shot 17 with the hair from shot 3 as the reference. Keep the room, the light and the framing as they are.

  2. 02Score 0.88

Short story piece, three locations, character walks between them

    Length
    1 min 34 s
    Read
    21 shots
    Where
    No marks on the timeline

    What it found

Nothing broke. Four people, two rooms and a street were tracked all the way through and every later shot matched its first appearance.

    Evidence

The shot-by-shot review is still there, so you can scrub through and see what was checked in each shot rather than take the score on trust.

    Fix

Nothing to change. This is what a clean run looks like.

  3. 03Score 0.62

Music-video style cut, same table dressed for every shot

    Length
    58 s
    Read
    14 shots
    Where
    0:26, 0:41 and 1:01

    What it found

A record on the table moved between cuts, the room got noticeably cooler and greener halfway through, and one jacket came back a different jacket.

    Evidence

Three problems, three pairs of frames. Two of them share a shot, so they were written up as one thing to change.

    Fix

Put the record back where it sits in the first shot, regrade the second half to the earlier white point, and rebuild the jacket shot from the first clear look at her.

How to read the timeline

Every problem is a mark at a timecode. Drag the playhead onto one and the panel under the player tells you the shot, what was checked in it, and what did not match.
